A partnership more like a family, Crank Team Officials membership is more than 7 years loyal. Genetically, Midwest & Drama Ganza are siblings and Step the Rippa is their cousin.  They’ve been doing music for as long as they can remember. Classmates Scottie and Drama Ganza immediately formed a working relationship after noticing music was the driving force in their lives. Scottie was new in town from east Texas and Drama Ganza was fresh back from her childhood years in  Milwaukee. They met in Cincinnati while pursuing a degree in Audio Video Production. The chips fell into place as they toured the city promoting and performing. Later, Drama Ganza met Suge Brown, (a local basketball star in high school) after a performance in a local bar near her grandmother’s house in College Hill. Suge became a fan and expressed interest in helping spread her music. The two kept in touch. She shared her knowledge of the music business with Suge before moving to GA.  At the time, Suge wasn’t in hot pursuit to be an artist. He became part of the team by helping with the promotions of Crankin Entertainment. Drama Ganza, after relocating to Atlanta would send Suge flyers and Cds to distribute in Cincinnati.  Later, Suge with his then group Royal Family, would entertain his desire to pursue rap.

Meanwhile, aside from recording and performing, Ripp has been working on more music while promoting his youtube page Ripp’s World. Suge is working on honing his craft and has his first solo project in the works. Scottie is working on his solo project and often partners up with other promoters to produce events in Cincinnati. Midwest is in his writing season working on his 3rd project.  Drama Ganza is on the west coast branding their likeness and building her catalog while pursuing certification in Music Business Entrepreneurship.

All members bring hustle and individuality to the team. Each artist works well solo, as well as collectively and everyone works believing in the motto “only way left is up” Their project “Boss in General” will be released 1st Quarter
